bridesmaid shoe dilemma.

So I have a friend from work that is in a couple of weddings this summer.  She is the maid of honor for one of them, and also very involved in the other.  We love to talk weddings together, so she came to me this morning with a shoe dilemma - what shoes to pick for the bridesmaids that will go perfectly with the dress?

Two other important stipulations - they can't have terribly skinny heels because they'll be walking in grass, and they need to be close to $75.

Common struggle, no?

Well, let's see what we can find to work with this lovely, classic J.Crew silk chiffon Sophia dress in graphite that the bride has chosen for her ladies to wear.

Here are some options I might consider pairing this dress with:

Payless Shoe Source Kutie Knot Pump - $26.99
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------

In Black.  Macy's Alfani Raina Wedges - $75
 ------------------------------------------------------------------

Vaneli Philys Open-Toe Pump - $62.90
------------------------------------------------------------------

Seychelles Pot of Gold Pump - $89.95
K I cheated on this one, that's not really "close" to $75, but they are too dang cute!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seychelles Peacock Peep-Toe Pump - $70.90
----------------------------------------------------------------------

BP Fae Satin Wedge Pump - $59.95
--------------------------------------------------------------

And because we already know my obsession with gray and yellow and my need for color, I think I've found my winner, people:

Seychelles Amethyst Peep-Toe Pump - $79.95

A.DOR.A.BLE

Cheers.

  1. I happen to like the yellow ones as well! Too bad I can't walk in shoes like that. :)
