I found these precious little candy buttons over at Andie's Specialty Sweets shop, inspired by the heirloom craft of sewing.
Each button is hand crafted and infused with organic peppermint oil, said to taste like peppermint salt water taffy - umm de LISH. Makes me either want to buy some of these ASAP or head homeward-bound to the Oregon coast for some taffy.
I would particularly love to see these packaged up for guests in these similarly colorful boxes with adorable ribbon patterns:
