just for fun.

I want to make large pinwheels on sticks like this, just for fun.

And I would like to buy a cute frame and have a photo shoot like this, just for fun.

Then I would hang the frame up in my house somewhere because it's stinkin adorable.

Then I want a cute purple jacket like she has in this engagement photo shoot and take pictures in it frolicking outside, just for fun.

Oh wait, ha!  I DID do that, it's right here.  Silly me.

I also want to try on this dress because it's stunning, just for fun.

And I wish I could jump in a lake with a really expensive wedding dress on, like this, just for fun.

Actually, this one is a lie - I don't wish I could do this.  I'm a wimp when it comes to jumping in water without testing it first.  I'm what you call a step-down-the-stairs-really-slowly kind of water enter-er.  Yeah, I'm that girl.

There's also this sweet DIY burlap flower bouquet tutorial - I'm in love with burlap lately.

And this gorgeous Marie Antoinette inspired bridal shoot that is to die for. Who would've thought a couch, cupcakes, and individually wrapped chocolate hearts would work out in the middle of nowhere?  Genius.

Then it's funny to see this bulldog in a tutu - no?

And last, but definitely not least, there's this really funny slash adorable video that has nothing to do with weddings but you should still watch, just for fun.

Happy Saturday!!

Cheers.

it's a TOMS kind of thursday.

It's a TOMS kind of Thursday, no?

It wasn't rainy.

It wasn't snowy.

It was about 40 degrees.

And it was partly sunny.

All perfect things for a TOMS day.  Aside from the fact that they are not exactly business-casual office appropriate.  Psshhh, whatevs.  Still a perfect TOMS day.

Also, TOMS make me happy.  And my day today started out fabulous but ended annoying, so just writing this post is perking me up a little.

And, who says you can't wear TOMS for your wedding?  They did.

There are a couple of things to get excited for about TOMS, aside from their adorable-ness:

1. Your purchase supports an incredible cause, the One for One Movement.  Read more about it here.
2. They have their very own wedding line.  Ahhhmazing.  You can see that here.

Okay, just let me admit something to you.  I'm somewhat of a TOMS poser - don't judge me.  I do not own a pair of my own... YET.  I have been waiting for all of this Spokane snow to disappear so I don't fake myself into springtime.  I guess I will wait a few more months.

Or... SURPRISE!  I will enter into one of these two sweet giveaways - currently for a pair of your very own TOMS.  Go here and here to see for yourself - and enter!

I kinda hope you win, but kinda not because I want to.

Cheers.

gaudy necklaces.

So when I say gaudy, I don't actually mean it in a tasteless way today.  I mean it like this:

Gaudy (adj) : brilliantly or excessively showy.

I never would have chosen one of these for my own wedding because back when I got married, you could say my style leaned slightly more toward...mmm...fine... boring simple, clean, and classy.

If I had the chance to do it over again, I might consider one of these standout statement pieces, though:

is it spring yet?

Happy March everybody!

And I should also be excited to say HAPPY SPRING with great joy and excitement, but sadly I cannot.  Because it's still snowing here!  What in the world is going on??

Anyhoo.

Isn't this button/flower belt adorable?  I want.

And have you seen a more elaborate cupcake ever in your whole life?

And don't you wish you could jump as high and as cool as they can?

Also, I'm excited to share that I'm working with the awesome Megan Ward at Red Pearl Designs on a little face lift for my bloggity blog.  I cannot wait for the finished product.  She is a super talented lady and friend from my hometown in good ol' Salem, Oregon, so I know it's going to be fabulous.  Be looking for the refreshed look in a few weeks!

Cheers.
